Great? Maybe not.

At first glance, “Am I Great Or What?” by Ass Clowns lead singer, Lars Gunblade, would seem like any other self-serving narrative penned quickly by an illiterate musician struggling to sound profound and at the same time justify behavior anyone else would be in jail for. Yet, this is so much more here.

Lars Gunblade has been a force on the rock scene for many years. Between controversial concert tours and numerous arrests, Gunblade has managed to slip under the radar of the establishment music press while maintaining undisputed street cred among hard-core heavy metal fans.

Yet, none of this matters very much when readers get to learn a whole lot more about certain perversions of Gunblade’s than most would care to know. For example, I could have gone my entire life not knowing that if you spread whipped cream on… never mind, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you.

Anyway, it’s a quick read with no big words and F-bombs in literally every sentence. Is Lars great or what? Yeah. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for his forthcoming book.
